                                            2012 May Performances       


The month of May is the busiest performance season, so here is a list of the dates and times.

Tuesday, May 15 - Ice Cream Social (Chorus on front steps, Band in front of Auditorium)
7th Grade Chorus Performance – 6:00 p.m.
8th Grade Chorus Performance – 6:15 p.m.                                                      
 7th  Gr. Bands Performance -  6:30 p.m.
Gr. 7-12 All Choir combined performance – 6:45
Jr. High Jazz Band Performance – 7:00 p.m.
8th Gr. Band/HS Symphonic Band combined – 8:00 p.m.                  

 Please wear: Boys - Black slacks, white music logo shirt, nice shoes Girls - Black slacks or skirts, white music logo shirt, nice shoes 

 Thursday, May 17 - ( In case of rain May 15, Ice Cream Social will be held,                                at the same times.)

 Monday, May 28 - Memorial Day Parade ( 7th and 8th Grade Band )     

 • Band members meet at Silverton railroad station at 9:15 a.m..     
 • The parade begins at 10:00 a.m. and ends at noon at Bechtold         Park.      
 • Wear the full uniform (Black slacks and white tops )   Gym shoes may be worn since we are marching.      
 All band members must have a marching lyre for their instruments ( Percussionists do not need to purchase this equipment. ). The band department has none, since these are to be owned and kept by the students.  Most students bought these in the Fall to perform in the Band Night show.  Flip folders are optional, but desirable since they keep the music from blowing in the wind, or getting wet.
